Congrats to the Chanute Boys Basketball team on a terrific season. They lost a tough one tonight at home in the Sub-State Championship.
Chanute Boys Basketball won tonight in the first round of Sub-State against Wamego. They will play in the Sub-State Championship game on Saturday at 5pm in Chanute!
For anyone planning to attend or watch, the Girls State Bowling tournament start time has been pushed back 1 hour to 2:40 pm this afternoon. We will post results as soon as we have them. Go Blue Comets!

Chanute Girls Basketball played Girard tonight for the Louisburg Tournament Championship since it was canceled in January due to weather. They finished as the tournament runner-up. Congratulations, Ladies!
Chanute Bowling competed in Lawrence yesterday.
The girls finished in 3rd place as a team and Zoey Turner was runner-up individually.
The boys also finished in 3rd with no individual placers.
Their next competition is Feb 16th in Kansas City!
CHS Boys and Girls Basketball traveled to Pittsburg last nigh to take on the Purple Dragons.

123Lb-Zander Small took 1st in Bench, 6th in Squat, 5th in Clean and 5th overall
173Lb-Ethan Cranor took 1st in Bench and Squat, 2nd in Clean and 1st overall. Cranor also took 1st in the
PWT Division in Ratio out of 95 registered lifters. Cranor put up an impressive #345 Bench a #500 Squat
and a #245 Clean. SEK Sports posted a video of Cranor’s #500 Squat.
PWT-Landon Oliver took 5th in Bench, 8th in Squat, 1st in Clean with an impressive #330 lift and 3rd overall
